Join us for our opening concert by Seraph Brass, a dynamic ensemble drawing from a roster of America’s top female brass players, known for presenting a diverse body of repertoire, ranging from original transcriptions to newly commissioned works and core classics. This performance will feature works by Edvard Grieg, Verdi, Mozart, Liszt, Puccini, Gershwin and many more. Returning to Lake City by popular demand, The Seraph Brass will guarantee an exciting night!

The art and technique of English handbell ringing is centuries old. The Chancel Handbell Choir from Florence First Presbyterian Church will ring in the Advent season with seasonal melodies from around the globe.
During intermission we will be serving a variety of delicious Christmas treats.

This concert in memory of Betty and Clinton Carter, features Wil Dannenberg, a multifaceted musician specializing in the bridging of American Roots and Western Classical traditions. Joining Wil this evening is Käthe Wright Kaufman from Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia. This performance will feature music by composers including Camille Saint-Saëns, JS Bach and Felix Mendelssohn. There will be several selections from the late Calvin Hampton, who was considered “the greatest living composer of hymn tunes.”
There will be a reception with cake and coffee in the Social Hall following the concert.

Project Trio
Blending their classical training with an eclectic taste in musical styles, this chamber music ensemble composed of flute, cello and double bass has an extensive repertoire of original compositions and their own arrangements that bridge several musical styles including classical, jazz, rock, Americana, and bluegrass. Project Trio is a musical experience defining a new level of entertainment and an event not to be missed.
There will be a reception at 6:00pm before the concert with heavy hors d’ oeuvres and wine.
